New-build warranty & defect evidence
Independent investigation and reporting where performance is disputed. We focus on causation, building performance and clear evidence that supports technical and claims decisions—without remedial sales bias.

What this service covers
Used where a developer, warranty provider or third party disputes responsibility or attributes symptoms to “lifestyle”. We investigate the mechanism and document the evidence required for a clear technical decision.
Investigation scope
What you receive
A structured, evidence-led report that separates observed facts from interpretation, states limitations, and sets out next steps proportionate to the decision required.

What this service is not

Discuss the situation before instructing
If you can summarise the symptoms and share any photographs or correspondence, we can advise whether a desktop review is proportionate or whether a full site investigation is required.
Pricing (proportionate fixed-scope options)
Desktop Defect Evidence Review — £450
Review of documents and information you supply. A short written findings note identifying likely mechanism(s), evidence gaps and recommended next steps.
Full Defect Investigation — Starting At £1,000
Site inspection with appropriate non-destructive diagnostics and a structured report suitable for technical and claims decisions. Invasive surveys are undertaken if required.
Fees are set to establish clarity early and reduce repeat inspections and avoidable escalation.
Request a technical call-back
Briefly describe the issue and the warranty/dispute context. If you have documents or photographs, note what you have. We will confirm whether a desktop evidence review is proportionate or whether a site investigation is required.
Findings are based on accessible areas and information available at the time of inspection. Where construction is concealed, this is stated together with recommended next steps (for example, targeted opening-up by others). We provide independent diagnosis and reporting and do not carry out remedial works.
